Disaster Recovery Services

Successful plans are the result of a Top-Down directive from committed senior managers who don't take "no" to DRP as an answer. DRP should become a part of the business process and carry over to other strategic initiatives.

4Sight Group consultants help your firm to set realistic expectations to achieve DRP goals and help the organization's senior management understand the recovery process. We divide what can be a daunting and complex project into three primary areas: Life Safety, Systems/Operations Recovery and Relocation - working with a designated Project Manager who is empowered by the organization to manage the DRP process.

Statistics Matter

Our consultants don't attempt to dazzle managers with charts and graphs on what percentage of outages have occurred based on various types of disasters throughout the country. Any good executive is already familiar with these statistics. Instead, we focus on the top management team's responsibilities - guaranteeing the continued viability of the organization.

Our Process

We believe that it is important to understand where the firm stands with respect to DRP in order to develop a logical project plan. Our consultants assist with a review of current policies and procedures, check for vulnerabilities, establish direction and identify costs for budgeting purposes.

The format we follow includes:

  • Collection of information in advance of on-site meetings through the use of data collection forms

  • Conduct a limited review of Life Safety and Facility Systems

  • Provide educational presentation as to the DRP process

  • Review disaster risks

  • Develop project goals and timeframes

  • Assign project responsibility based on in-house talent

  • Address measures which will ensure the plan’s successful implementation

  • Develop detailed punch list for in-house personnel as well as outside consultants
